I have a avatar which is controlled by the Kinect however I wish to use animations and IK on the arms and so have applied a animator controller and created a avatar mask so that the animation only effects the arms.
However the masked joints seem to have reverted to a “stress test” position with the legs raised slightly towards the chest. The animation and IK work perfectly on the arms, however the masked joints seem to be being forced into that position, so when the Kinect tries to move the joints it just flickers back into the “stress test” position…
Any ideas? If i explained it well enough.
