Avatar Mask- Turning of Ground Mask prevents character rotation

Hey, i wanted to set up a Upperbody animation by using Avatar Masks.
But as soon as i turn of the ground mask, a very important part of the animation gets lost - the rotation to the front.
so normally the character punches to the front, but with the mask off he is punching to the side as you can see here:

is there any way to keep the rotation without turning on the ground mask?

cause this is how it looks like ingame:

you see, when i turn on the ground mask (between the feats, I dont know how its called). the Punch goes in the right direction (front) but also the legs are moving with the punch. if i turn of the ground mask, the punch goes in the wrong direction but the legs are correct. also the movement is not working anymore when i turn on the ground mask.
how can i make both working: the legs and the punch in the right direction?

here are some more pictures from my animator and animation settings:

(the third-last image is wrong, the weight is 1 not 0)

Have you tried creating a mask from the actual skeleton, instead of the 1 you click on the body parts? In the full skeletal hierarchy, you have access to every bone, so you can pin point the bones you want to keep.
