AVPROVIDEO Error: Loading failed, FIle not found, codec not supperted, video resolution too high....

I keep having this error on one of my projects using AVPRO 2.9.3. I have this plug-in in two different projects. And in one of them, the video plays without a problem, while in the other I keep getting that error.

The computer is the same, the file is the same, the codec is the same, the video resolution is the same in both projects. The video file plays within Windows using a normal video player (e.g. Zoom Player or Window TV player). So the file is ok.

I copied the setting from the AVPRO Media Player, step by step from the project where it works to the project where it does not. I copied the Unity Player settings exactly as well.

Any idea of what could be causing this? The error message itself is not very useful…

Which of these errors is it?
If the file could not be found perhaps it really isn’t there? Log the path, or use the debugger to step through the code.

Thanks for your answer. The file is there, one project can play it and I can play it with other video viewers. The other project gives me that error, it is a single error called “loading failed, file not found, codec not supported, video resolution too high or insuficcient system resources.” As I said, not very helpful…

I see. That’s … let’s just say this warrants a smack in the developer’s face as a form of self-defense. :smile:

Does it have source code? If so I’d set a breakpoint and step into to see what it’s doing there.
