Axis Hands to Visual Hands or Hand Mesh

I can’t seem to figure out how to post this into the Vision OS forum, so if there ends up being a duplicate I am sorry…

I have imported the sample XR Origin Rg for the Vision Pro from 1.2.3.

The rig defaults to having the hands that are made up of axis and white lines. It is great for prototyping and seeing what is going on, but for the final game I need either the user’s hands or some kind of hand mesh.

The prefab that is being used is the JointVisuals prefab.

This is assigned to the XR Origin/Camera Offset/ARKit/Hand Visualizer.

Where do I find a similar prefab that has all the hand tracking and input as the JointVisualizer, but is either the user’s real hands or a hand mesh?

If you want to show the real hands, you might want to try enabling Project Settings → XR Plug-in Management → Apple visionOS → Upper Limb Visibility.

So simple. Thank you!

I tried to attach an object, e.g. a watch, to the hand, but the object occasionally fades to transparent even when it should be covering the hand and wrist, especially when I move my hand. How can I ensure that the occlusion works properly?

It seems that a more stable solution would be turning off Upper Limb Visibility and using a hand mesh for occlusion. (If you want to work on near-object interactions.) Is this correct?
