[b18] Linux fails to run (from OSX)

I develop on OSX; I compile for all three platforms there using the Unity command-line tools. It seems that the OSX builds always work, and for some people the windows users have luck, but all linux users report the game quits immediately after launch with no log messages.

Anything I can try? at least to get this more verbose?

Doesn’t get more much more verbose. Does a Linux development build log anything interesting?
If not please submit a bug report with your project attached or even better a minimal repro project.
