Backing up .bin files taking hours :(

I’m having lots of difficulty backing up the folders with .bin files and taking anything up to 6-8 hours and only at a speed of kbps . The rest of the folders without .bin files will transfer with no issue? Is there any way to speed up the process of the .bin files? it’s been the worst day so far backing up the Unity files and almost impossible to do in a day. I’ve also tried with another SD card and the result of transfer is the same and so I am very stuck with why this has suddenly began to happen wth backing up files.

I’m moving data to a SD card with a transfer rate of 150+mbps and so it makes no sense for these files to take so long and at a heavily reduced speed. It’s usually taken under 4 hours to back up previously to the same SD card.

These are the folders taking the longest time due to the .bin files.
Shader cache - SIze on Disk 2.3 Gigabyte -6 hours to move files.
Player Data cache - 11 Gigabyte.
Artifacts - 40+ Gigabyte

Thanks for nay help on this.

You really don’t need to back up anything in the Library directory. That directory only contains data that gets generated by the Editor when it needs it. It is safe to exclude this from the backup, the Editor will re-create data as necessary when you open a copy of the backup.
