Bad deformations on different platforms

Hi all,

I’ve animated some illustrations in Blender using bones and imported them into Unity where I made them interactive. The majority of my Unity work was done on a Windows 7 PC. I exported the scene as a package and sent it to the mac (the end product is for the iPad). Unfortunately on the mac and iPad the deformations, especially around the tail aren’t as they were in the PC version. Please see attached. Sorry for the quality of the images, they were shot on my phone directly off the screen, but they show the error.

any thoughts why this is happening and more importantly, how I can stop it?

found the solution.

The Unity on the mac was set to 2 bones in the mesh renderer, rather than the required 4.

Hope this might help anyone with similar issues.
