Baked lighting shadows different from dynamic lighting shadows.


I have been baking shadows on a group of duplicated meshes. Unfortunately the resulting shadows on the static mesh are extremely dark and opaque with no transparency ]when compared to the mesh that have been lit with a dynamic light resulting in an uneven look.

I have tried decreasing shadow strength but to no avail. Is there something else I am missing out or is there any other solution?


I have played around with the ambient light. I in creased the indirect intensity under the Genereal GI setting and it helped but only halfway. The shadows have ambient colour but the highlights on the baked object do not match to the real time object.
