Hi,
Im working on a project and i dont seem to get the lightmapping on the imported assets to work properly, ( i model them in 3ds max and export them to unity as fbx files )
so i bought “European Furniture”

and tested baking, it worked nicely only on the items from “European Furniture” so i took my materials and applied them onto a chair, from “European Furniture” and baked it and it baked nicely as well.
for easier view i took two teapots from 3ds max and added them to the scene and u can easily see the issue im getting :

"notice the checkers, and the dark and light sports, the difference in two is each one had different versions of fbx options( one is binary and the other is ascii)
and as u can see the chair is getting the baking right on it

i think i narrowed it to an issue of me either doing something wrong in the export or that i need to do something after importing it. ( just guessing )
