Baking NavMesh during gameplay?

Hi, I’m currently working on a game in which the player can place buildings into the world. I was wondering If it was possible to bake these objects into the nav-mesh during gameplay?

Nope, currently NavMesh can only be baked in the editor. It is supposedly something they’re working on allowing during runtime, though I have no idea when/if it’ll get done.

You could ‘cheat’ by having the buildings be a Nav Mesh Obstacle so the AI would move around it, but that’ll only work if units using Nav Mesh to move don’t need to go inside them. If it’s something like a RTS where units can go inside buildings, then you could probably have them navigate to the entrance using NavMesh, then manually move the units inside.
