ive got a scene that im baking the light off, im not using HDRP or URP currently. My issue is that im not able to bake the characters in the scene as they’re animated. Is there any way i can allow them to bake somehow? Even if i mark them as static they fail to bake currently im guessing because they have animations on
any help would be much appreciated

Look into light probes. They capture the linght in a given point and movable objects can get the light information from them.
thanks. This is for quest - so im only using one directional light on the players helmet - so when they’re not looking at the characters it doesnt receive any light. At the moment i think im just going to bake the light in substance painter and put that in the albedo - but would be good if i could just do this in unity direct
