Hey there, so i am trying to make an indoor scene, that has no sunlight just lights from lightsources like lamps. I could not bake any lightmaps with an emission material, because it somehow did not work, so i switched to adding point lights under all my lamps. Now the Problem is that when i add multiple lamps to a room, that you start to see the outline of each object very clearly which is not what i want at all. You can see it in the picture below. Its the first attached file. You can see there clearly that the ceiling between two lights is just a block with a texture. How can i solve this to look like an even ceiling? the meshes are all aligned with progrids.
Im also trying to make a room with a way that has spotlight. I had to turn down the ambient color to pitch black, else the assets dont throw any shadows anymore and look like just one color with no depth. Im trying to light up the room just a bit. To achieve this i placed very big point lights above the room, to make the room a bit more visible. But it does not feel like its the right way to handle this problem, do you have any suggestions?
I have also tried baking lighting data once but it looked like the shadows were casted onto the wall like little dirty patches. Wasnt really happy with the result
