AppHub (working title)
A cross application platform to enable developers to easily include social features found in Battle.net friends list, allowing friends to see what games their friends are playing in real-time. Cross application social interactions allow users to discover new apps organically via their social network.
Value to Users: Enables friends the ability share and communicate across any app. If there are chatting with a friend in one app, they can switch to another app and continue the conversation.
Value to Developers: Free cross application promotions! Increase the number of users that see your app.
AppHub will always be free for developers to include in their apps and we will provide a free tier that will includes basic app info. There will be a paid tier that will allow developers to include additional features (TBD) in their app summary (image on the right) such as video trailers.
