Beast Bleeding Error? Or something else

Hi All, I have been setting up Beast and tweaking the settings. I finally have them about right, but I cannot get rid of little nagging bleeding errors. Seems to happen only on small pieces of geo, door frames etc. My first guess would be that it is bleeding through from other areas on the UV map, but beast’s bleed settings should take care of that.

Any ideas?

this might be due to not enough padding between uv islands. Did you read the docs about uvs for lightmapping?

Yeah, the objects visible have Beast light mapping UV’s being generated anyway, I’ll try a much large bleed tonight and compare though!

Generate Lightmap UVs? Then you can quickly check 2 things:

  1. more resolution should help
  2. tweak padding parameter in Advanced settings for Generate Lightmap UVs. Usually this is the way :wink:
