Beast Lightmap Noob

Hello,
My lightmap looks good in the editor:


But when I start the scene some of the shadows disappear:

Iam using Unity (free).
Is it normal or iam doing sth wrong ?

Question 2:
It is possible to drop shadow (with Lightmaps) on dynamic objects in unity free ?

No seriously, I don’t know what’s wrong as for your first question. :slight_smile:

For you second question the answer is no. And it can’t in Pro either.

As i remember, in car tutorial from 2.6 it was working somhow, so this is not possible in 3.0 or it was some kind of trick ? Maybe some lightmap shader ?

Alright i think i found the solution, shadows disapears because i was using a combine mesh.
Can somebody confirm it was only because of that ?
Question 2: Still there is now way to do that ?

combine mesh indeed would kill it cause it does not respect the second UV set etc unless you extended that script
