Hi all,
I was wondering if the beast point cloud baking feature is directly or indirectly supported in Unity 3 Pro. I tried to search for it but without success.
From what I remember is that Point clouds allow indirect lighting to be baked into volumetric forms that would project the baked indirect maps onto dynamic (moving) objects and this giving a sence of realtime GI ( plus the realtime dirct lighting and shadowing) - Please correct me if I am wrong.
If the above is true, is there any hope of implementing this feature in any upcoming Unity 3.x releases?
