Bebop

Is anyone else here a Cowboy Bebop fan? I’m a bit late on things (also I was only a kid when it came out) But I found it and I watched all 26 sessions and the movie.
I also heard that they’re making a live-action Bebop… STARING KEANUE REEVES AS SPIKE

What would you like to see out of the franchise? I think that it has run its’ course and you can’t just restart a series like that after “ending with a bang”

I love what they have now, but I’m afraid if they make any more that it will just be old and stale and it would ruin everything. Also, vote for your favorite member of Bebop above, and tell me what your favorite episode was!

I personally think Ed is the best, especially in “mushroom Samba”

Anyone who doesn’t vote Ed is a communist.

And yeah… I am not holding hope that the movie will be good… But I would love to see more episodes.

The thing about cowboy bebop is most of the episodes are encapsulated, and don’t connect chronologically. So they could easily just make more episodes that take place before the last episode. They already did this once with the animated movie, which came out after the series had finished.

FYI anyone who hasn’t watched cowboy bebop needs to. It is probably the only anime ever made that isn’t embarrassingly stupid.

They’re all up on Youtube last I checked. Dubbed in English so it’s all good to go! Ready to Bebop right into your heart!

Cool stories, great fight scenes, sxy Fay, and Ein! The Dog!

Everything you could ever want.

Aside from Ghibli movies, it’s the only anime I have actually really enjoyed. Not sure why it has such Western appeal.

Not only is Keanu acting as Spike, but I’m pretty sure he has a lot to do with the production as well. I’m actually really interested to see what he does with it. I love the guy, but he’s definitely been in some stinkers.

Oh god, I soooo love this series. A huge part of me always begs for there to be another season or something.

I voted spike. Ed’s really great, at least for comic relief and such, but there wouldn’t be a Cowboy Bebop without Spike.

I think the closest you’ll get to an excellent live-action version of cowboy bebop is Firefly. It’s not the same thing, of course, but it has definite similarities.

Yeah, right in the first few minutes of the first episode I watched I immediately thought of Firefly.

When I saw the title of this thread my first thought was “What about Rocksteady?”

Guess I’m getting old.
