If I am wasting time asking these questions just link me to where they are answered or tell me what to google. I have the latest version of Unity engine and the free version of FPS control. I downloaded both manually and installed Unity. I do not understand how to get FPS control into Unity. I was also curious about how importing models works with this program. Are there certain sizes, or expectations about how I export a model in say 3DS Max to import it into Unity? Thanks for any help.
yes you can get FPS control by selecting the Main Camera and then goto menu "Component → Character → FPS Input Controller. Execute the unity program and you’ll be able to move around.
Yes you can easily import a model of 3DMax in Unity3d. Just copy it in the project folder and you can drag it on the scene and model will be available for you.
Best of luck
You can also just watch their Tutorial videos on their website and their Youtube Channel. Should be enough to get you started.
Silly question perhaps, but did you try reading the documentation?
