Hi, thank you for visiting this thread. I recently just downloaded Unity and was trying to make a 2D game with it. However when I selected “2D” when I created the project, it still displays in 3D. Can someone tell me what the problem is? Thank you.
did you somehow turn on 3d view? Show pictures please

Yep, the Editor’s rather unintuitive unfortunately when first starting out - even though it says ‘2D’ it’s not 2D, it’s actually 3D.
You have to click 2D so that 2D is highlighted, which means it’s not 3D any more!
