beginner question / build a game

hi all,

i am new to unity and try to bring the 3d platform tut to run…
i am not through the whole tutorial but where is the difference between hit the play button in the editor and build the game?? if i hit the play button i have the scene running but if i build the game i have just an empty (blue) scene with the unity logo.

Did you clicked “Add open scene”?

File >> Build Settings

On your left, just beneath the white box :slight_smile:
