Beginner to programming. Looking for help

I’m new to programming i started about a week ago and i’m looking for someone to help me take my first couple of steps into programming. I’m not asking anyone to come write my code for me i’m just looking for someone to help me understand what a line of code means and help me when i’m really confused and have no idea what to do to fix something in the code.

I’m starting programming using c#
I’ve been going through tutorial after tutorial but haven’t really gotten any useful information out of a lot of them.
If you’re willing to lend a helping hand i would really appreciate it.

Several good books are out there with scripts and explaining things.
Check out the Walker Brothers tutorials. They have a whole scripting series.
Another might be 3D Buzz tutorial series.

Also don’t be afraid to look into non unity programming lessons. Learning C# or Java in other programs can be useful as well.

The best thing to do is to keep making things and try things out on your own, not just following tutorials.

A good book to help further or better your understanding of C# is Head First C#. I can also vouch for sub-zeros’ tutorials, good luck mate
