Beginning C#, need some direction

I’m sorry if this question has been answered already in other posts. But for some reason when I type in “C#” into the search function, nothing comes up. Maybe I’m doing it wrong.

However, I would like to learn C#.

What are some good books, websites, places for me to go to learn how to write C# games?

I see that there are some nice posts on how to write JavaScript, however, it appears that through my searching and readings that most large scale games are written in C#.

Thanks in advance!!

http://unity3dstudent.com/ (It’s JS - but covers unity in simple tuts).

Another good way to learn C# for gaming is XNA. Its alot more barebones than unity but its probably a better learning enviroment for visual studio because you can debug it.

Thanks guys! Do you know of any good books that I should get that teaches C# for gaming? Any other websites are greatly appreciated too!

There are some unity3d books around - google/amazon them.
