About
We’re looking for a talented 3D Character Artist to join our Unity project, Belly Bumpers! It’s a 2-8 player online and local party game where players use their bellies to knock out opponents. We currently have a demo live on the Xbox Insider program.
Project Scope
We’re initially looking to commission a 3D model for Blas ($500-1500+), our first character. We expect you to interpret the best version of Blas in 3D based on our concept art. If your work aligns well with our vision, we’d love to commission all of our characters or discuss a longer-term contract work for our entire game’s development.
Character 1 – Blas
Requirements:
- 1+ model based on provided concept art. Note: in the full description and attached Blas_5Bellies image, we illustrate how character’s belly size will change during gameplay
- Fully rigged for animation
- Belly rigged for animation
- Face rigged for animation
- 1 unique idle animation with belly movement
- 1 unique face animation such as a blink
Question for You:
How would you approach handling the five different belly sizes for the character in 3D? Multiple models? Blend shapes? (Details in the concepts in link below.)
