So basically the title says it, i’ve tried carbonmade but its not the style i was going for. is there any you guys know and use ?
thanks for the link i’ve read up on that thread a little but you need to but your own domain and that costs money which alas i dont have, also i’m not good at HTML i do understand snippets though.

Domains are pretty cheap to pick up, I think mine was less than ten quid for 2 years (and hosting can be free : http://www.000webhost.com ). I’d say it’s worth investing in for a folio site if you can spare the money.
That said, there are some free domain-level redirect services that can forward you on to the hard-to-remember url from an easy to remember one.
HTML, especially for a site as simple as the template in that thread, shouldn’t be an issue. If you can wrap your head around C#/UnityScript, HTML’s a no brainer so long as you don’t try and get fancy (then cross-browser stuff comes out to haunt you and you start to harbour a deep and festering utter despisal of Internet Explorer :P).

I’m amused that the article makes mention of Wordpress multiple times but then fails to link to the official Wordpress blog hosting service that provides free blogs (as well as paid ones).
I guess it kind of depends on what you want to showcase, but I think just use github pages.
For me as 3D artist, artstation is the best
