Best Place For An Absolute Beginer To Start Learning Unity

Hey guys (and gals) this is my first time posting on the Unity forums, I was just wondering where the best place to start using Unity would be. I have no previous scripting experience I haven’t ever modeled in my life and I’ve never used Unity before. I am 16 years old and I’m doing a college course in computing and IT. I have read the sample of this:

https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Will_Goldstone_Unity_3_x_Game_Development_Essentia?id=RJ5fsGXbqXwC&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImJvb2stUko1ZnNHWGJxWHdDIl0.

And was wondering if that was a good place to start? Sorry if this has been asked before. Thank you for your help.

I found the Walker Boys studio tutorials to be excellent

There are lots of great tutorials online, but many of the are not focused the latest version of Unity. I put together a series a number of Years back called Unity for Flash Developers which while started to get a bit outdated still gets quite a bit of traffic.

I also wanted to let you know that I recently put together a new low cost Unity 4 course for beginners that will get you up to speed very quickly. The course features over 30 HD videos and full source code examples taught to you by a professional instructor and game developer with over 10 years of experience.
