Best way to optimise tons of sprites (stadium crowd)

Hello everyone! I work on a project where I have to fill a stadium with tons of peoples. I decided to use sprites. I have about 15 different people that I placed all over the stadium. My question is: Is there a way to optimise this to run smoothly?

Because for now it runs ok, but I would like maximum optimisation because I have other things to add in the scene. When I play in the editor, without all the people, it run betwen 300-400fps and when I activate them it drop to around 30fps sometimes and the draw call is super high.

I searched all over the internet, but found nothing that really help.
