Best way to tile roads


I just started making my game finally come true after many months of just playing around with assets and doing nothing. I would be intrested, how would more experienced developers deal with this obsticle. On included images you can see I made a part of road and I want to extend it. If I just stretch it, it will alse stretch texture. Yes, I could set tiling at material properties, but that won’t work for different length of road. I don’t what’s the best way to make this work. I could just make an array, but I don’t know if I want to deal with tens or hundreds of parts just to make one road.

You can make a shader that reads the object scale and applies it to the tiling of the texture.
