I just got my Oculus today and have been having a lot of fun for the last couple hours simply adding the “OVRPlayerController” prefab to existing scenes and exploring.
However, these scripts made by the OculusVR team, while obviously made by a seasoned programmer, are not very Unity friendly… especially if you’re trying to get the “OVRGamepadController” script to work with a gamepad on the Mac.
So I’m wondering if anyone has already done the work to get a 360 controller working on a Mac with the Oculus. I’ve searched around but haven’t come up with anything yet (apologies if I’ve missed an obvious thread) . If there’s an existing solution already out there it would save me a couple hours of tedium.
