Okay.
This is has been irritating me for days. Really. Because I’m so close to resolving this that I don’t know why it’s that hard. I can litteraly see what I want, just not in the right place.
So WHY is the graphics in scene view different than in game view and, in particular, WHY is it BETTER for pixel art?
How can I use the scene view camera settings inside the game???
(ignore the little lines on the right, that I know how to get rid of but I don’t want to mess with the textures right now)
Look how different they look. The left one is distorted to the point that most of the pixels present on the texture are not displayed, when on the right it is like it should be (take it as a reference, it looks EXACTLY like on the texture). I have tried disabling mipmapping, anisotropic filtering, antialiasing, enabling pixel snapping, seeing how it looks like with different aspect ratios, maximize on play… Nothing. Still can’t get the result i see on scene view.
So the question is simply, how can I achieve the look from the scene view?
@
also it’s not just because scaling of the view ‘just works out so’. I have been carefully looking at different scaling factors and the result is independent of it.
