Is it poor quality because it sticks? I thought sticking is what stickers are supposed to do.

They make them that way so you can’t later remove them and put on an ‘Unreal Engine’ one instead.

I put cheap swag on a fresco and just look at the damage that was caused.

Unite swag is actually some of the more useful stuff I’ve gotten. One year the did this Swiss army knife style USB data transfer cable. Another year I got a USB battery. Both lasted about 18 months, which is pretty decent for free stuff.
