Billiard Game Template

Hi,

A Billiard Game Template ready to be used. Apart from what you would expect, it supports backspin and some trickshots based by of course where you hit the ball and it’s priced low.

Since I am having some troubles with the Asset Store Managment Tools now, you can find it here until those issues are resolved:

Alt pressed and move mouse for aim. Mousewheel to set strength. Click to hit ball. “z” to open top view.

I should say thanks to some guys from this forum that actually got in and got the file by hacking a bit through my code without paying. It’s been my pleasure to know it is of use to you.

Hey I just tried your demo and wanted to say that this is beautifully done. I don’t have plans for a game like this myself at the moment but I may come back and buy it in the future for a mini game to use within my current project. I can’t believe people hacked your code, that is very disappointing and reflects very poorly on the Unity community as a whole.

Looks awesome, any idea if it would easily port to iphone ?

Hey. Thanks rutecht! Yes it’s dissappointing, but it’s over now.

@Roachie: I have no preview experience with iOS, but I don’t know why it shouldn’t? If you are talking about the controls, then yes it is easy to handle those current controls differently.

So a small update: I’ve included #pragma strict on all scripts and made the ball stop a bit faster. Not much.

I’d like to let you guys and girls know that the Billiard Template can also be found on the Asset Store. Also thanks to everyone who bought this :slight_smile: I guess I will see a full billiard game soon. Just let me know so I take a look at the final. :wink:

does it work on mobile?

@Raphael: I have little knowledge on mobile, but another user here “Aron” told me that it’s only #pragma strict that seperated it from running on mobile. After his advice I went in and did so. So i suppose it works on mobile now. :wink:

So you are saying that it probably compile correctly on Unity iOS and I just need to add touch input. Is that correct?
Does it have AI?

Yes, that is what I mean. No it doesn’t have AI or game rules, as seen on the web demo. You will have to add the rules depending on what you need to make. This is a template to build upon.
