Binary files support

Will binary files get support for cloud save?
If so, any estimates?

Hi @ihgyug ! Files capability for Cloud Save is actually coming very soon! We are aiming to release a new version of the SDK in the next month or so that includes this plus other additional features and improvements. I’ve sent you a DM to further discuss potential interest in early access testing.

To confirm, we’ve had the Cloud Save Files API live for while but the new Cloud Save SDK for the Unity Editor, which includes support for these features, should be out later this month! We just missed the release window for the last update but it will be in the next update (from next week).

We have additional updates to the Cloud Save SDK coming soon and looking forward to sharing them, and to any feedback on them.

Good thing is that we can add it by name and version (at least in 2022.3.0f1):

Very happy to say that binary files are fully supported in the Cloud Save SDK since v3 last year! I guess I forgot to come back and update this post when we did that, I think it came out a few days after I last posted on the thread.

You can find examples of how to work with Files in the Sample that comes with the Cloud Save package, there are also some examples of how to use files here:
