Biped + bone animation with mecanim

hi all~~
I am currently trying out mecanim. I am having a problem where I have a character which is skinned with biped and bone.
When I exported in unity . The animation plays fine if I set the animation mode as Legacy.
However when I convert the animation to Humanoid, the bone animation just doesn’t play. I have checked Keep Additional Bones.
I am not sure what I did wrong.

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated .

To use mecanim, you need to create a controller and assign the controller to your character.

Will did post a nice tutorial that show all the step to do this.
