Black Square when using my Quest 2 (via Link) with a very basic OpenXR setup

I want to make a very quick OpenXR Demo, but I have run into an issue. I converted the main camera to XR rig. The tracking works well, but there is a black square in the middle of the screen. I cannot find where this is from. Do not think it’s supposed to be there. It is static on the camera and is not seen as an object in the world.

Using Unity 2020.2.0f1
I am using my Oculus Quest 2 with Link.
My laptop has an i7 9750H, RTX 2070, and 16GB RAM.

If you have any suggestions or have more info, please let me know.

Hi,

This is a known issue:

  • A black box appears in the upper-right quadrant when running in Oculus desktop. We will release an updated Oculus runtime to fix this, but in the meantime, you can turn off occlusion mesh for the built-in renderer.
