Blend Probe issue

I do not want these things attached to my FBX when importing into Unity. big stupid grey balls filling my viewport and hiding my geo. I do not know why they all of a sudden they occur but ts incredibly frustrating. i have to go through each piece of geo to turn them off, time i have not got.:rage:!(http://afp://s-comofpp01/Shared/Transfer/Matthew Turley/Capture.JPG)

I’ve tried everything I know to negate this - to no avail.

Anyone know if this is indeed a bug??

Your image is broken, so I can only guess what you mean. Maybe something like this?

If so, a couple of things:

  • If you’re changing the “Light Probes” value on the renderer to “Off” to turn off these gizmos, you should understand that you might be screwing up the lighting on that object. Do you really not want the object to be lit with light probes? If you’re just trying to hide the sphere gizmos, I would definitely not change the Light Probes values to Off.
  • If those sphere are in the way, you can do a couple of things. You can turn off Gizmos in the scene by just pressing this button: 6388698--712071--upload_2020-10-6_11-37-35.png. You can also expand that button, and drag the 3D Icons slider smaller to make those spheres smaller: 6388698--712074--upload_2020-10-6_11-38-49.png

And to answer your question of why they occur, these are showing you information on what kind of lighting that object is receiving from light probes.
