Blend Tree vs Mixer Node

What is the difference between BlendTree and MixerNode in dots animaton?
so from what i understand they’re exactly the same, they blend two animations based on a float weight ratio

Edit: nvm get it now. blend tree automatically manages weights based on a supplied coordinate while with a mixer node, you have to set the weight for each clip

still digging into animation but isnt the BlendTree just the asset that gets converted into a MixerNode at runtime?

meccanim is convertible to dots now?
no, not talking about any asset. im talking about the NodeHandle dfg node that makes up the animation graph that drives animation for an entity
