Blender Crashes when rigging models?

So I have finally finished rigging a model, I press ctrl+p and select the one that says “with automatic weights” and then it says “Blender has stopped working…”

I was wondering if there is a specific reason as to why this is. Maybe I used the “bevel” option one too many times? (Bevel is similar to subdivide smooth in a way)

Hard to say what causes this, without seeing the blend.

If you could post the file, I would take a look.

Do you have any unapplied modifiers? I know an unapplied mirror modifier will cause problems with weight painting.

As nipoco says - hard to know without seeing the blend file.

Thank you for the reply - I got it fixed :slight_smile: I just played around with the legs of the model and then tried and apparently that got it to work o.0
