Blender import!

Hi!

I just started to use Unity and I have a question.

I’m developing my own game and I have already created lots of models in Blender. When I import them to Unity I can see them but, I can’t step on them. Like; I have a building but I can’t walk up stairs etc. What’s wrong??

Did you add a mesh collider? go into component>physics>mesh collider

It depends on how big your stairs are also if the height is too big then you’ll manually have to jump up then if they’re the right size it’ll go automatically up, or you can create a script that will make your 1st person or 3rd person controller smoothly go up the stairs no matter how big they’re! Anyways good luck with your game.

Thanks for the quick response!

I didn’t quite get this to work. It should be noted that I don’t have a hitbox or anything like that! Is that the problem? Because nothing changed! I added the “MeshCollider” and used Metal as the Material. What am I supposed to choose on the Mesh option?

Thanks again,

Ok!

I made it! Thanks again!
