I’m making a territory map for my war game and I’m making it in Blender. In order to have the scaling exactly the same as it is in Unity, I took a direct screenshot of the map and then started working off of that.
But when I placed the territory map down on the world, it didn’t line up with the in-game tiles:
It makes absolutely no sense seeing as how using the direct screenshot from Unity into Blender is how I modeled this:
(Note the green is the in-game map, the white is an unrelated map)
It’s not just there, in the Northern parts of the map it drags down and to the left:
and in the southern parts it drags up
It looks like an issue with scaling but it shouldn’t be seeing as how my background image used in Blender was the EXACT map from Unity (Taken from Orthographical, not perspective view). I then matched up the corners of the map with the Blender model and yet nothing lines up.
Help would be greatly appreciated seeing as how this is one of the core features in my game.
