Blender Rig to Maya

My friend uses Maya to animate and I use Blender for modeling and rigging. Will he be able to animate them if he opens .fbx or .dae files that I’ve exported from Blender?

He would certainly get the joint hierarchy, but certainly do not get rig and setup informations .meaning he will be good to re-rig it in maya.

Either do the rig and animation in maya, or do the animation in blender, should more simple solution

What about model and rigged in Max then export to Maya for animation?
