How do I parent an armature to a character that’s made out of more than one object? Thanks!
AFAIK, Unity does not currently support Blender armatures or animations. You’ll need to use another application (maybe Dim3 Inspire?) for this.
Can’t use Dim3 Inspire. It sucks badly. Blender is my only option that I know of. I can’t afford any commercial programs or anything. When will Unity support Blender animation and can you at least answer my question so that I can animate stuff in the meantime?
From what I understand, Unity will support Blender animation when the Blender Collada exporter is completed (a search for a thread on this topic should find it).
Maybe someone else can jump in and help, I’m not exactly an expert on rigging with Blender. The other option would be to go to blenderartists.org and ask. Some very helpful folk there.
