Blender, texture over texture

Hi guys (Image below)

I’ve made a model for myself for a little something i’m working on.
I’ve got a blood splat material that i’d like to be on top of the ground texture, but i’m not sure as how to do it.

So far I just have a gray texture under the bloodsplat.png (transparent)
so it looks like its in. But say I wanted tiles? How would I go about doing that, I can’t seem to create two uv maps or anything, or is it the case of just one large ground uv map?

Thanks for any help

Usually bloodsplats and such are done w/ decals. So the blood is a separate quad w/ the blootsplat image applied sitting just over the ground plane. There are some decal systems on the asset store you can use to generate the decal meshes for you.

Thanks for the reply! I never thought to do it like that, makes a bit of sense having it separate. I’ll look into the systems, thanks for taking the time to write!
