Blender to unity model issue

Basically, I have imported a sword I made from Blender to Unity. Now this is my first ever model import so i may have imported it wrong. However, in the Unity Scene the sword is fine and looks fine, textures all there :D. but when I play the scene the sword stretches across the plane i’m using as a floor.

Check to make sure there is no animations being played on the mesh. It usually contains a Default_Take animation that automatically plays when you start the game, and can lead to unwanted results. If this isn’t the case, we might need more information about the model.
