Blender to Unity: Toon Basic Outline only Fragments

Hey Community,

I modelled a weapon in Blender and the edges are split by an edge split modifier.
I applied a Toon/Basic Outline shader. There ins’t a outline around the whole model, but rather aroung every split faces :open_mouth:

I’m not sure if you ever found your answer, but what I’ve found is that you shouldn’t use the edge split modifier since it adds a LOT of extra vertices. To get an edge effect, instead of importing the normals in the Unity import inspector, have Unity calculate them and you can try changing the smoothing angle to fit your needs. Hope that helps!

i need help about this (well this is not an answer, i’m sorry) how do you export toon shader (post-processing, edge) into unity? and can you bake toon shader? thank you so much :slight_smile:
