Blender/Unity problem, trying to play one animation but another insists on playing with it?

Hey,

I’ve got an animated character that I created in blender and imported into unity. But heres the problem: Whenever I tell the character to play the jump animation, the death animation plays with it? I’ve googled around a lot but I can’t seem to find anyone else with this problem. It’s like Unity or Blender is pairing those animations or something. Anyone have any idea what’s causing this?

By “the death animation plays with it” you mean they are blended? Or that one plays after the other?

Maybe you have the problem described in this question (already solved).

Or maybe you have an animation to “Play Automatically” in the “Animation” component.

Are you using a script not made by yourself to move the character? Some scripts cross fade animations or even blend some.
