Blender / Unity Shadows

So, real shadows are really not working. I only have about 22 days left of my PRO Trial, and don’t want to waste it trying to get real shadows to work. They look great, but randomly disappear depending which direction I look.

The Question: Does anyone know of a good tutorial to use blender to make shadow maps for Unity?

I think the blob projector works fine, if not I can use real shadows only on my player and omit everything else since it will hopefully have a shadow map. I am using a GTX 460, so should have no real issues with the real shadows. It’s kinda sad they are acting so flawed.

(If this is posted in the wrong forum feel free to move it, I did not see a forum that specifically applied to this)

How about just generating lightmapping in Unity?

Didn’t see it on Unity - Manual: Shadows

I am still new to Unity.
I just tried it (had seen the button for it before), it worked good. Is lightmapping a pro feature? Will I have it when my pro trial expires?

Nope.

Lightmapping is in free.

Score! Who care’s about real time shadows! lolz. Thanks for the advice. It works perfect.

Certain elements of lightmapping are Pro (namely global illumination).
