Blurry stuff

Hi, I’m new to this commuUNITY.

I am an aspiring game designer. I model environments using the blender software. Me and my friend is starting to make a game as a hobby. I watch some video trailers on unity. and sometimes I see this blurry red or blue stuff on the screen. and I find it pretty annoying. Can you please tell me what it is so I can prevent something like that in the near future?

Thanks.

Blurry red or blue stuff? You’re going to need to be quite a bit more specific if you want help.

probably texture bleeding due to mipmapping and filtering.

Sorry. but I don’t know the proper term to call it. I see those things when objects are in motion. the object will have a short duplicate of itself that is color blue or red. Just like motion blur.

They may just be artifacts in the videos. Do you see these inside Unity, or do you only see these in the videos?

post a link to a video, then we can see what it is, otherwise we can only speculate

I believe it’s in the video at the gallery page. I opened a game in unity and it doesn’t have that annoying thing. Thanks guys.

Yeah, it’s compression. It’s optional and the vid probably had compression on top of that too.
