The issue is also resolved by using the free ALVR, even at a bitrate of 200–250 Mbps. In fact, it performs better than Meta Link over a wired connection at 500 Mbps. From this, I can conclude that until Steam or Meta switch from the lower-quality H.264 codecs to at least HEVC or AV1, I wouldn’t recommend creating levels with a lot of forests — at least not when using the Unity engine.
