Blurry TMPro UI text on device but not in editor

What are some fixes for blurry TMPro UI text that seems fine in editor, but appear blurry on device?

You should be able to use the font material’s Gradient Scale property (visible in the Debug section) to change the sharpness. A higher Gradient Scale will result in more sharpness.

Which debug section is this (?)

As an example, with the sample TextMeshPro font, in Assets/TextMesh Pro/Resources/Fonts & Materials/LiberationSans SDF.asset, one of the contained assets is a material (“LiberationSans SDF Material”). If you expand the “Debug Settings” in that material, you’ll see the Gradient Scale option.
