Hello!
I want to present my game. I spent 9 months to develop this game with my own engine, and next to I switch to the Unity3D. This Engine is really amazing, after 3 weeks of trainings, testings and fighting with philosophy of the engine, I start porting to the Unity. And this is result of 6 weeks of coding. Please, enjoy the full playable demo of BoberTheBeaver.

Everything was created by Unity Free with standard assets.

Really nice game
I love the graphics and the gameplay is nice and fluid, but I got to the end of the first level and found I needed more coins. I don’t know where I missed the last coin (I only needed one) but it was really annoying that I couldn’t find it and that I would have to start the level over just to find a single coin.
I would say that you need more coins - especially on the first level, which should be a nice easy introduction into the game.
How did you build it? Are you using Sprite Manager, or your own system? Whichever you did, it’s working great!
Cheers! Keep up the awesome work!
Jeff.
Hello
I use my own sprite manager. I use atlas texture and I change texture scale and offset to animate characters.
I like the graphics, sound, and gameplay. I encountered two quirks I’ll point out: (a) due to the difficulty of scoring a hit with the slingshot, I found enemies easier to hop on or avoid. The only exception was the spider and apparently the slingshot doesn’t work on him. (b) At the end of the level, like psychicparrot, I was missing exactly one coin–I looked and looked but couldn’t find it. How frustrating! Lower the exit requirements, add some extra coins, make the coins harder to miss, or give an indication when you’ve passed some distance beyond a coin without spotting it to avoid such awkward situations.
